Understand the law of cause and effect
In all world religions and spiritual practices, we are taught that we reap what we sow, what goes around comes around, the law of cause and effect, or the law of karma. This means that whatever we do has an effect, whether we do it physically, emotionally, mentally, or spiritually. The effect is not necessarily good or bad but totally conditioned by the action and the motives and quality of the action itself.
Maturity on any level means taking responsibility for one's actions and the willingness to face the consequences.
Karmic liabilities are important for us and show us what we need to do to repay debts, build better relations, heal our pains and grief, and live a healthier life. It is like an illness or discomfort that you cannot ignore but must deal with in order to live peacefully once again.
